| Bio: | Ah, yes, the animal-obsessed Bryndelness. What can we say about her? She likes roleplaying, reading, writing, drawing--but she likes all of them best when they have something to do with animals. Her main online "fursona" is a perpetually cheerful, brown-and-orange brindled wolf with bicolored eyes and white markings named "Bryndel," who loves jellybeans but dislikes annoying puppies (specifically, the five she cares for) and skwerls. RL, she's a 17-year-old named Samantha, a former homeschooler who graduated early from high school (but no one much wants to know any of THAT, do they? : 0-P ). She's been taking a college class here and there at Pikes Peak Community College, but won't go away to "real" college until this fall, when she'll tranfer to Colorado State U to major in psychology and complete prevet requirements before going on to vet school, then specializing in behavior. Her latest school-related brag is that she got a scholarship from the CSU vet school; and is guaranteed admission so long as she doesn't get too horrible grades or not finish her undergrad studies in time or the like. *beams* Yes, Bryndel is happy. Her favorite real animals are dogs, other canines, and rodents. She had two pet gerbils and two dogs until recently; now she has just one dog, a rescued purebred Chinook (her favorite breed) by the name of PR Mang O'Dei's Outlaw Jack (morecommonly called Jackaroo, one of a thousand other nicknames (mostly insulting), or just Jack), who's been through beginning and intermediate obedience with her, and who she wants to train in agility. She wants a pair of pet rats, but is waiting until college has started to see if she'll have the time and money. Dogs are her special obsession--she likes other animals, but LOVES dogs. Especially Chinooks, which are the coolest breed on earth (but yes, she likes mixies and other purebreds as well. : 0-P ) Do not talk to her about them unless you want to spend several hours having her talk back to you about them...lol. She has far, far too many books. Most of them are science fiction, fantasy, or non-fiction animal-related stuff. Her current favorite author is Robin Hobb, but she also likes Mercedes Lackey, Robin McKinley, Gail Carson Levine, Anne McCaffrey, J. K. Rowling (you knew it was coming...), and Piers Anthony, among others. Her favorite non-fiction dog books are Your Purebred Puppy, 2nd ed. (by Michele Welton), The Puppy Report (Larry Shook), and For the Life of Your Dog (Greg Louganis and Betsy Sikora Siino). She likes movies, too; cartoons in particular (she is a Disney fanatic, which has as a result influenced her art greatly), but spends far less time watching them than she does reading. Her favs are Shrek, The Lion King, and Pirates of the Carribean. She is dying to see Shrek 2 right about now. Her stories aren't posted online yet (and they're all furry or anthropomorphic, mwaha) but some of her art can be found at The Lion King Fan-Art Archive (http://fanart.lionking.org/) under the username Biskiteater, and on deviantART (http://www.deviantart.com) under the name Bryndel. Other hobbies include creating characters (of which she has far, far too many; nearly all non-human of course) and volunteering at the local animal shelter, vet clinic, or theraputic riding center.
